To Goro IIWe trek higher, and still not everyone is well 27 June - to Goro IIAt last, a more normal trekking day. We headed out into the centre of the Baltoro Glacier, onto a moraine rib that continues up to Concordia, and as we walked higher, either side the glacier turned into white ice. Without the toilet blocks (impractical on the ice, unless a barrel system is used) I was worried it would be a dirty campsite, instead it was surprisingly pleasant, and at last we could reach camp mid-afternoon with time to relax. The views just get better and better!
