Everest Gokyo Trail Trek

A delightful autumn journey to the land of the Sherpas

We fit this once-in-a-lifetime trek through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Himalayas into three weeks, visiting some of Joel's favorite (and often secret) spots in all of the Himalaya. This trek follows the spectacular Gokyo valley to the Gokyo lakes, climbing Gokyo Ri and the Renjo pass for spectacular views of the surrounding 8000m peaks, but also focuses on Buddhist gompas, old Sherpa villages off the usual tourist trail, and experiencing the real Khumbu during long autumnal days. All this with a guide that has trekked and taught English in the area for over fifteen years.
