Best Tibet Overland 2007

Travelling across Tibet is enlightening, here are some shots to inspire you!
All photos copyright, Jamie McGuinness.

You can see all of this on our 11 day overland Tibet tour. Also see Our treks for the trips we are running.

Lhasa

The Jokhang is the oldest, most historic and one of the most inspiring gompas in Lhasa - indeed in Tibet.
It is well worth several visits. See the 06 gallery for Potala shots.

Shigatse

Even though Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet, it is still much more mellow than Lhasa, and many fewer tourists.
