Caravan 6666After our first climbs around the high plateau we headed
to Tso Moriri, a huge high altitude lake, 24kms long, which has fantastic
trekking. From around here we climbed several more peaks (covered in the Climbs gallery).
Yep, it is a wonderfully moody place with a weather system of its own. |

It is also the temporary home to Tibetan nomads grazing their yaks and sheep - Jamie
And it is a protected bird sanctuary with a huge range of aquatic life - Jamie

A classic semi-hidden camp of flowers that flourish from a spring, and it has great views over the lake too - Jamie |
