Project Himalaya clearing out

Yep, we had a safe and well-organized summit, now it is time to pack up - a big job.

Chris Klinke and Fredrik Strang on top!

26 May ABC 6400m

All the team and all the sherpas arrived at ABC, very tired but everyone extremely happy. The sherpas had cleared the mountain of all our equipment, with some help from three EPP sherpas too.

On a sadder note our sherpas were too tired to help with the Lincoln Hall rescue, and 7 Summits with 12 sherpas didn't need more sherpas, instead we provided some oxygen and a stretcher.

27 May

A few of the team are heading down to BC to recover at only 5150m.

28 May

Most of the team will head down to that "thick air"! We have 67 yaks coming up to stay the night.

29 May to BC

Lets see if we can get everything on 67 yaks... We will move everything to BC.

30 May BC

Another day of packing and relaxing.

31 May to Zhangmu

24 Nepali staff, 9 Tibetan staff and the western climbers that haven't taken an early ride - convoy!

1 June

We are really, really hoping to be in Sam's Bar, 6pm then Fire and Ice pizza restaurant!

Part of our sherpa team, solid guys
