Payment methods

We offer a variety of ways of paying us for a trip, please read carefully and email us to discuss.
We are a small operation and our trips are tightly costed, hence we prefer 'cheap' or 'low transaction cost' payment methods.

If you are from USA, UK or New Zealand we prefer a check/cheque and will send you the details.

If you are from elsewhere either pay by a direct PayPal payment if you have an account or by credit card thru PayPal.

Balance payment on arrival in Nepal / India

We accept cash (US$, Euros and British pounds) or Nepali/Indian rupees at the official bank buying rate.

In India, work out where you will exchange the balance money. It used to be we suggested Delhi airport banks however the rate there is truly terrible now Do NOT change there. DO discuss this with your trek leader.

Alternatively you can withdraw rupees cash from either ATMs or the bank from your debit card, Visa card or MasterCard; there is often a $5 charge. From the Nepal/India side there are usually no charges. To avoid paying interest or charges from your side you should have sufficient money in your account. There are ATM machines in Kathmandu, Delhi, Manali and Leh (sometimes Manali and Leh are difficult, though).

We only accept checks on arrival by prior arrangement.
